I made it out alive!!! :D Just kidding...but I really did make it through the first week teaching the preschool summer session. We learned about frogs, so this included a "pond" at my Sensory center, and I attempted tadpoles...but that's a different story lol.
We painted frogs using corn syrup with green food coloring, and I must say that they turned out pretty awesome!!! They look shiny, and it's a great alternative to paint, crayons, markers, etc., all the usual tools (:
If you haven't ever read the book,
The Big Wide Mouth Frog, I would HIGHLY recommend it...using different voices of course, the kids love it! So one day, for our crafts, we made big wide mouthed frogs.
Here's a couple of pictures from Week 1.

We had bump & jumps one day, and the kids had a BLAST!!! They also slept pretty good that day lol!

And another one.

Here's one picture of my sensory center. Different shades of blue tissue paper, green lily pads made out of felt (along with a couple of flowers as well), and the different stages from tadpole to frog.

Another Sensory center picture.
